TESTIMONIAL
I just finished my certification training and took a FreedomFiler Quick Start system in a filing crate to my professional network meeting. The minute I brought it out, I was swamped with interested people and questions and sold 3 sets right on the spot. One member also wants me to do a home party for all of her clients. This product sells itself!

Print Labels

Please click below to download the Microsoft Word™ template for printing onto your FreedomFiler label sheets*. For all other word processors, please see instructions below.

Notes:

1. Due to a limitation with the word processor, the Microsoft Word template does not allow you to create labels for the very bottom row on the FreedomFiler label sheets. You may reserve the bottom row of your sticker sheets for handwriting labels.

2. When printing labels you may receive a prompt stating that the "margins are set outside the printable area". Simply click "Yes" to proceed.

3. If grey gridlines do not appear on your screen, go to the "Table" menu and select "Show Gridlines". In Windows Vista™ select the "Design" tab and then choose "Table Grid".

PRINTING CUSTOM LABELS FROM MICROSOFT WORD™

Download the Microsoft Word label template to print custom folder names onto your blank label sheets. The name of the file that will be dowloaded onto your computer is "FreedomFiler Template". Open the template in Microsoft Word and begin typing folder names into the table provided.

Tips For Entering Labels
I. Use the tab key to move between labels. Hold down "Shift" and tab to move backwards between labels. You do not need to press return after each row.
II. To erase several labels at once, press your "Delete" key or go to the edit menu and choose "Clear" after you have selected the text you want to delete. Do not use your "Backspace" key to delete large blocks of text because this may destroy your table.
III. To save the file choose "Save As..." from the file menu and choose a different file name. By doing so, the original blank template will always be available for future use.

ALIGNMENT AND TRUNCATION PROBLEMS

Some printers and printer drivers have limited printable areas and some printers may be out of alignment by 1/16 inch or more.

To fix your printer's alignment try adjusting the left or top margins in your word processor by choosing the "Page Set Up" menu. A change of .06" will shift your text 1/16 of an inch. Most printers are aligned to within 1/32 of an inch. Always print a test page or try printing 1 or 2 labels first.

To fix truncation problems make sure that you have the most current driver installed for your printer and check your page set up in your word processor to make sure you are using the correct margin settings. To download the latest driver for your printer, go to the company website for your printer manufacturer.

PRINTING CUSTOM LABELS FROM ANY WORD PROCESSOR

The following are general set up instructions for formatting Microsoft Word and Word Perfect to print wording onto your FreedomFiler blank colored label sheets. These formatting parameters may be applied to any word processor. After correctly formatting, you may want to save a copy of the settings into a file for future use. When entering your label titles in your word processor, use the tab key to move from one label to the next within a single row in your document. To move to the next row, press enter/return.
